Orefield woman wins prize for photo of her state-park-loving retriever
Orefield resident Bernetta Dougert won first prize in the Take Five in the Outdoors photo contest for this picture of her golden retriever Molson, testing the water at Gouldsboro State Park.

On a cold and windy February day, golden retriever Molson Dougert impulsively tested the lake water with his paw at the very moment owner Bernetta Dougert of Orefield snapped a wintry landscape photo at Gouldsboro State Park.
Although Molson probably wasn't contemplating anything more than going for an icy swim, stepping into Dougert's photo frame at just the right time would net him a tail-wagging reward beyond measly dog treats.
